Process Integration consultant Sergio Del Piccolo has been asked to discuss Microsoft&amp;#39;s ESB Guidance v2.0 and Service Virtualisation and the Connected Systems Conference 2008. 
&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;
The event will be held at Microsoft Vancouver offices (1100 - 1111 Georgia St., Vancouver, BC) on October 30th with registration starting at 8:00am and Sergio&amp;#39;s presentation later in the afternoon at 1:30pm.

 <description>The term Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) is widely used in the context of implementing an infrastructure for enabling a service-oriented architecture (SOA). However, real-world experience with the deployment of SOAs has shown that an ESB is only one of a number of building blocks that make up a comprehensive Service-Oriented Infrastructure (SOI). The term ESB has morphed in a number of different directions, and its definition depends on the interpretation of individual ESB and integration platform vendors and on the requirements of particular SOA initiatives.
