Brad King
Brad King is a consultant and researcher within the Connected Service practice at Avantage.
Brad has a unique professional experience that spans industry and academic settings. He is currently developing a systems-based approach to understanding and modeling service alignment and business model innovation. Prior to joining Avantage, he began his career/business training in the energy sector where he gained experience across the ITIL disciplines of service support and service delivery.
In addition to his role at Avantage, he is currently a PhD candidate and instructor within the School of Communication at Simon Fraser University. His dissertation draws on research in systems-thinking, service sciences and social network analysis in order to develop a communicational approach to the problem of organisational alignment.
Brad has been an invited speaker at Osgoode Hall Law School at York University, University de Quebec a Montreal, Simon Fraser University and University of British Columbia. He is also a member of the Canadian Communication Association, CMC-Canada and is working toward achieving his CMC certification.
